Columbus Bay

Located on the Southwestern Peninsula of Trinidad, the Bay was named for Christopher Columbus in honor of the fact that he and his crew entered the bay via ship in 1498.  Today the beach serves as a semi-popular recreational spot for sun bathing and swimming.

Located on the southwestern coast of the island of Trinidad, 2.4 miles west-southwest of Fullerton. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby.  Travelers in search of a tranquil, secluded setting might want to plan a visit to Columbus Bay.

How to Access The Beach

Columbus Bay is set between Los Gallos Point and Corral Point.  There is a car park available for visitors.

Amenities and Ambiance

The shore of Columbus Bay features tan colored sand that is smooth and soft.  The waters are aquamarine with several outlying rocks that jut out from the sea, giving the bay character.

Columbus Bay offers those who visit an angelic and serene enclave, thanks to the fact that the area surrounding the beach won't be overly crowded.
